 “UHP” stands for Ultra-High Performance, and the bands have an overall range well in excess of 15 metres, and an effective range of 6 to 8 metres.
The bands are individually moulded and are intended for RBG enthusiasts, and for specialist use.
They are expensive to produce, but when loading 6 at a time you can look forward to an average life of around 70 shots per band.
It is not recommended that you load more than 6, as the bands then begin to interfere with each other where they sit on the front loading pin, and the life of the bands reduces markedly.
These bands should have appeal to serious skirmishers such as Paintballers, where they can be become a cheap substitute to practice Paintball indoors, and without making any mess.
Some potential specialist uses are;
- US Law Enforcement showed quite a bit of interest in the Firewheel for indoor firearms training, but this was not realistic with the normal bands, but may well be now with these bands.
- Herpetologists, who work with reptiles, use rubber bands to stun small reptiles so they can be collected as specimens. These bands should be ideal for that purpose.
